Do I need to be a member to use the range?
No! Drop-ins are always welcome.
What is your drop-in rate?
Our drop-in rate for non-members is $35.
Do you offer rentals?
Yes! Bartons Back Alley Range has a large and varied fleet of rental firearms available – all for $30 or less – and most under $20! Please inquire at the front desk.
Are children able to use the back alley range?
Children under the age of 16 years must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.
Children under the age of 15 years are not allowed to shoot Restricted guns;
Children under the age of 10 years are not allowed in the range.
Exceptions may be approved by the RSO.
Do I need any special equipment?
Eye and ear protection must be worn at all times. Closed-toed shoes are required. The danger of contact burns from hot brass prohibits open-toed shoes or low-cut tops from being worn while on the range.
I'm unlicensed. Can I still use the range?
An unlicensed shooter MUST be supervised at all times by an appropriately licensed person. The supervisor must remain within arm’s reach during all firearm handling.
Do you offer private parties?
Yes! We can accommodate up to 14 shooters per party. Parties are quoted individually, please email for more information.
